No accounts, no study-data server
StatRise does not require sign-in and never sends your study data — progress, answers, calculator history, datasets — to a server. There is no backend database, authentication, or user profile.
- No advertising trackers, ad networks, or cross-site tracking cookies.
- No third-party requests for your study data.
- The app works fully offline once loaded.
Browser-local data
Your lesson progress, calculator history, practice attempts, mistakes, saved simulations, and pasted datasets are stored only in this browser using localStorage.

Analytics
StatRise uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate usage such as page views, country, and browser type. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies, uses no localStorage, does not fingerprint you, and does not track you across sites. We only ever see anonymous, aggregate numbers — never your study activity.
Payments
Premium purchases are processed by RevenueCat (subscription management) and Stripe (payment processing). When you subscribe, your email and payment details are handled by those providers under their own privacy policies — we never see or store your card details. An anonymous purchase identifier is kept in your browser so the app can recognise your Premium access on this device.
You control your data
The Progress page lets you export your local state as a JSON file at any time, and reset it to wipe everything this app has stored in your browser.
CSV and file uploads
When you upload or paste a CSV in the Data Lab, the file is read and analyzed entirely in your browser. It is never uploaded anywhere.
